Description

Located north of Jacksonville, Alabama was the community of Merrellton, established in 1884 and named for postmistress Adelia E. Frank's daughter Merrell. Shown are the entire concourse of people who assembled at Merrellton School for clean-up day held December 8, 1914. The original was courtesy of C.W. Daugette.
