Description

Senator John J. Sparkman visited Jacksonville State Teachers College February 19, 1951 to speak in the Leone Cole Auditorium. He was introduced by Dr. Charles E. Cayley, professor of political science. Also seated on the platform were Ed Blair, Carl Hofferbert, Austin Johnson, Colonel Aldrup, Joseph Shaw, McClellan Van der Veer, R.K. Coffee, President Houston Cole, and Rev. Robert B. McNeill.
