Description
Commencement was held at Jacksonville State College on July 30, 1954 in the College Bowl. Degrees were conferred upon 87 graduates by President Houston Cole and Dean C.R. Wood. Charles G. Dobbins, member of the State Board of Education and editor of the Montgomery Examiner, provided the baccalaureate address. Shown a graduate shakes hands with President Houston Cole as she receives her diploma.
