Clarence William Daugette was the First Assistant to Jacksonville State Normal School President Jacob Forney in 1894-1899. In 1899 Jacob Forney left to become Chair of Psychology and Pedagogy at the University of Alabama and Clarence William Daugette became President of the Jacksonville State Normal School. (circa 1899)
