Jane Rice was the second co-ed from Jacksonville State University to be named Miss Alabama. Shown Jane Rice appears during a contest. This may have been during the 1974 Miss Northeast Alabama pageant held in the Leone Cole Auditorium. Rice won the 1973 crown. [courtesy of Teresa Cheatham Stricklin]
