Description

Dr. Houston Cole, Jacksonville State University President, was presented with a plaque by Col. Frank Akers on behalf of the Anniston Chamber of Commerce on January 14, 1971. The plaque reads, "A Testimonial of Sincere Appreciation to Dr. Houston Cole for your untiring efforts on the development and progress of Jacksonville State University from September 1942 to January 1971. Presented by Anniston Chamber of Commerce."
