Description

Photo circa 1917-1924 (marriage of second wife to date of death). A man dressed in a dark suit and tie with a dark hat stands with a dog’s front legs propped on him and its muzzle resting in his right hand. A lady wearing a full length white dress stands next to him with arms linked. In June 1917 Major Peter Pelham married a second wife, Mrs. Sally Jackson. Maj. and Mrs. Peter Pelham stand outside with a dog named Laddie. [donated by Laura W. Henry]
