Description

Photo circa 1954-1990 (purchased in 1954 and house tours began). The Berkeley Castle, also known as the Samuel Taylor Suit Cottage, was built by Samuel Taylor Suit for his wife, Martha Rosa Pelham Suit, the daughter of Charles Pelham. Tourists enjoy the grounds below the castle shown on a tree covered hillside. (circa 1970s)
