Description
Photo circa Spring, 1861 to May, 1864. A man in a light colored, double breasted, ¾ length military overcoat and dark pants. The subject has his left hand crossed over and clasping his right, which is holding a sword, pointed down and resting on the floor. He is Lieutenant Colonel John Clark Francis. John Clark served faithfully in the Confederate Army, where he died during battle. (circa 1861)
