Description

Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) announced in September 1966 that the new cafeteria, built directly across the street from Dixon Hall, was open to students. The new dining hall seated 2,400 students. This new building was part of an expansion program planned to help upgrade student education in the northeast Alabama area. Shown is a drawing for the new building that appeared in the Fall 1965 issue of the Collegian.
