Beth Cole, daughter of Jacksonville State University President Houston Cole and Leone Pruett Cole, married Dr. Guy Leslie Rutledge, Jr. on March 19, 1949 at St. Paul Methodist Church. Shown the bride and groom stands with the wedding party. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Samuel Price (matron of honor), Carolyn Covington, Margaret Koster, Frances Weaver, Betty Caldwell, Jeanette Tucker. Junior attendants were Leon Pruett, Francis Pruett, Carolyn McGraw, and Joseph Stewart. Ushers and groomsmen were Dr. Wade H.
