A dinner was held in honor of Mrs. Florence Daugette and family by the Trustees of the International Endowment Foundation, Inc. in Gadsden in October 2001. The ceremony was dedicated in memory of Mrs. Florence Daugette, long-time patron and friend. Shown during the event are Dr. William A. Meehan (university president), Clarence W. Daugette III, Mrs. Daugette, Dr. Theron Montgomery, and Cleophus Thomas, Jr.
