Description

Homecoming was held October 16, 1954 at Jacksonville State University. Shown the winning homecoming float is pulled during the homecoming parade. The float depicts a trojan horse with the motto, “Like the Greeks so bold beat Troy of old, the Gamecocks so brave will break the red wave.” A group of students also ride on the float.
