Description

Studio Portrait of Frances Elizabeth Fitz Morgan (1910-1997). Fitz was the daughter of Alfred Lawson Fitz and Wilhelmena “Willie” Thompson Landers. A native of Jacksonville, Alabama, she graduated from Jacksonville High School and Jacksonville State Teachers College (now Jacksonville State University) in 1929 (the 1928 yearbook lists her as a junior). She briefly taught elementary school and married George Jefferson Morgan, with whom she later moved to Albany, New York.
