Description
Weatherly Hall at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) was named for Florence Weatherly, typewriting and penmanship teacher and secretary to President Daugette for 27 years. The new women's dormitory was completed in the fall of 1964. This new building was part of an expansion program planned to help upgrade student education in the northeast Alabama area. Shown is the front exterior of the dormitory near its completion. (circa 1964)
