Washington correspondent and political columnist Miss Doris Fleeson delivered the baccalaureate address for graduation exercises held May 25, 1951 at Jacksonville State Teachers College. Shown is a self portrait autographed by Doris Fleeson. It reads, "For Houston Cole, a pioneer, with warm regards Doris Fleeson Bell Syndicate." (circa 1951)
