Homecoming festivities were held October 14, 1950 at Jacksonville State College. The Gamecocks took on Troy State College in the College Bowl. Nancy Blackburn was elected "1950 Miss Homecoming." Shown on the football field Nancy Blackburn receives her crown and bouquet of flowers.
