Description

A group of 35 people from Jacksonville State Teachers College made a 5 day trip to Washington, D.C. to study government first hand. Two days were spent sightseeing. Shown the group visits The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. The group was composed of Paul Starnes, Imogene Duncan, Mildred Pennington, Lauzanne Sims, Josephine Clonts, Viola Street, Lucille Fulks, Betty Higgins, Maxine Parrish, Virginia Love, Juanita Miller, Kathryn Roberson, Nell Gray, Betty Land, Ada Igou, Virginia Mask, Kathryn Lane, Lois Perry, Mana Stone, Eliza Grimwood, Clara Davis, Fay Sutton, Mrs. George Cowden, Lucille Gibbs, Carmen Traylor, Margaret Nabors, Evelyn Denham, A.R.
