ROTC cadets at Jacksonville State College are shown lined up for their annual formal inspection. Cadets from left are Cadet Sgt. Taylor Gilbert, Cadet Sgt. William Morrow, Cadet James Brooks, Cadet William Crews, Cadet Lt. Col. Jack Collins. Col. Forrest Cookson, Inspection officer, came to represent the commanding general of Third Army, and was assisted by Lt. Col. Donovan Rice and Major Lawrence Skelton. Lt. Col. James Blodgett, commander of the Jacksonville ROTC unit, was on the colonel's left. (circa April 21, 1954)
