Description

Awarding of honors to the Jacksonville State College ROTC unit was held during ceremonies May 10, 1957. Shown from left are Cadet Capt. Joe Currie who received the Army Magazine ROTC Medal Award for Outstanding Cadet of 1956-47, Cadet Capt. Fred L. Casey wo received the plaque for "Outstanding Company" of which he was leader, Cadet Major Larry Lee who received the ROTC Certificate for Meritorious Leadership Achievement for 1956-57, and Cadet 1st Lt. William R. Griffin who was awarded a plaque for "Outstanding Platoon" of which he was leader. (circa May 10, 1957)
