Description
A man seated in a chair reading a book with a hand on a glass of Coca-Cola was depicted in a 1905 Coca-Cola advertisement. The advertisement reads, "Coca-Cola Delicious Refreshing at Soda Founts five cents, Rx For Students and all Brain Workers Take one glass Coca-Cola at eight to keep the brain clear and mind active until eleven." The baseball advertisement below it is by William Read & sons. (circa 1905)
