Col. Harry M. Ayers, publisher of The Anniston Star, was very active and a large financial contributor in the early years of the International House Program at Jacksonville State University. He was the first Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Endowment Foundation. He passed away in 1964. Shown he is seated at an office desk. (before 1964)
