Description

The Jacksonville City School building was acquired by the Jacksonville Normal School in 1929. Located next to the armory on West Francis Street, the building shown served as the Jacksonville High School, or Jacksonville State Teacher's College secondary laboratory school in the late 1940s. In the 1950s it was the ROTC headquarters building. (circa 1950s)
