The first annual job fair, known as senior day or career day, was held April 5, 1972 at Jacksonville State University in the Student Commons Building. More than 50 job placement officers and counselors visited to discuss career opportunities with graduating students. Shown students meet with representatives at the State Employment and Health tables.
