Description

Jim Mallicoat, president of the Jacksonville High School Booster Club, presented Dr. Ernest Stone, president of Jacksonville State University, with a lifetime membership in the booster club. Dr. Stone was the Jacksonville City Schools principal and superintendent before becoming the state superintendent of education and JSU president. Shown a plaque is presented during a banquet outdoors ceremony. (circa August 6, 1972)
