Description

Alabama's first national American Cancer Society award was given to the student body of Jacksonville State University in 1972 for their efforts with the fund drive. Shown Program Director Bernard Thoeny presents the award to Dean Miriam Jackson, head of the campus fund raising drive, and Dr. Ernest Stone, University President. (circa February 15, 1973)
