Description

The annual Alabama Academy of Science meeting was held April 13-15, 1972 at Jacksonville State University in which more than 500 high school students were in attendance. Stephen F. Syer, left, of Talladega High School, was presented with the outstanding science teacher in the state of Alabama award. Presenting the award is John Holland, associate counselor for the Alabama Junior Academy of Science. (circa April 18, 1972)
