Jacksonville State College held their annual football banquet December 19, 1950 at the Reich Hotel in Gadsden. The event was sponsored by the Profile Cotton Mills of Jacksonville. Dan W. Gray, a merchant and chairman of the Calhoun County Commission, was toastmaster. President of the Profile Cotton Mills, R.L. Gilman of New York City, was guest speaker. Identified seated at the head table are Henry Miller and Senator James Allen.
