Description

These students were Miss Homecoming candidates and finalists at Jacksonville State University in 1971. A group of outside judges narrowed the candidates to these six finalists. Students elected the queen on October 26, 1971 and the queen was crowned at an assembly held October 27, 1971. Shown from left are Marie Baughman, Sharon Ferguson, Betty Bell (first alternate), Jane Rice (winner), Beth Crockett, Vikki Sanders. (circa October 27, 1971)
