Outstanding teachers from across Alabama were annually inducted into the Jacksonville State University Teacher Hall of Fame. Mrs. Mary H. Barron, Dadeville Elementary School, was a top 10 finalist. She was also selected the winner of the elementary division. (circa March 29, 1971)
