Description

Annual Awards Day ceremonies were held April 14, 1971 at Jacksonville State University. Shown President Ernest Stone presents Sara Kaye Ellis with a trophy for having the highest academic average in the Spring 1971 graduating class. Brenda Sue Heaton also received an award for her high scholastic achievements. Standing second from left is Ralph Callahan, guest speaker for the Awards Day Program. Callahan also received a certificate of appreciation from the JSU Alumni Association. (circa April 14, 1971)
