The Northeast Alabama Regional Science Fair was held March 26-27, 1971 at Jacksonville State University. Approximately 250 junior and senior high school students from 10 counties entered projects. Shown is Kenny Brothers of Etowah High School with his project on the acidity of different cigarettes and the effects of the acidity of smoke on the blood. He won a trip to the International Science Fair. (circa March 26, 1971)
