Description
In 1897 Annie Rowan Forney married Clarence William Daugette at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville Ala. Together they lived in a plantation home on the edge of the Jacksonville State University campus referred to as "The Magnolias." The home was built in 1850 by Thomas A. Walker. C.W. Daugette purchased and lived in the house 1903 until his death in 1942. A marker was erected by General John H. Forney Historical Society in 1963. (circa March 29, 1973)
