Description

Annual winter graduation exercises were held January 23, 1970 at Jacksonville State University. President Houston Cole presented Mrs. C.W. Daugette, wife of Dr. C.W. Daugette (former Jacksonville Normal School President 1899 to 1941), with an honorary degree of doctor of humanities. The presentation was given in recognition of her many contributions to the college.
