Carol Sedlacek was a student at Jacksonville State University in 1970-1971. She was a Miss Mimosa candidate and selected as the 1970 Miss Mimosa winner in the beauty pageant. Shown she is crowned by Sharon Herman, 1969 Miss Mimosa winner, on stage in the Leone Cole Auditorium. Other candidates shown on stage are Debbie Green, Ceil Jenkins, and Margaret Branch.
