Description

The annual awards day at Jacksonville State University was held May 6, 1970 in the Student Commons Auditorium. Dean of Admissions and Registrar Lawrence Miles presents Glendacile Williamson with the Alpha Xi Delta award for highest academic average in the May 1970 graduating class. Standing with them are Fred Asbell who was voted outstanding Student Government Association senator and Barry McDaniel who had a 2.92 average.
