Description

The Northeast Alabama Regional Science Fair was held March 26-28, 1970 at Jacksonville State University in Martin Hall. Over 300 high school and junior high school students from 10 counties entered projects. Dr. Bettye Youngblood, chairman of the judging and awards committee, presented awards during an assembly held in the Leone Cole Auditorium. Clyde McSpadden, general science faculty, served as coordinator of the fair. Shown from left are Dr. Bettye Youngblood, Mary Beth Upchurch (first place winner), Kenny Brothers (second place winner), David Steele (junior high division winner), and Clyde McSpadden.
