The Northeast Alabama Regional Science Fair was held March 26-28, 1970 at Jacksonville State University in Martin Hall. Over 300 high school and junior high school students from 10 counties entered projects. Shown is David Steele with his winning project. He built a model rocket launch and tracking system. Steele was the overall winner in the junior high school division. (circa March 28, 1970)
