Jacksonville State College observed United Nations Day on October 24, 1950 with a special assembly in the Leone Cole Auditorium. The Freedom Bell ceremonies were broadcast in the Leone Cole Auditorium and the old college bell was rung by John Williams, president of the Student Government Association. Shown may be John Williams with the bell in the back of a truck.
