Description

Major Robert E. Freeman, member of the ROTC staff at Jacksonville State College, received the Bronze Star Medal for service in Korea. The medal was presented November 29, 1951 by Brig. Gen. T.F. Wessells, commanding officer of Fort McClellan, before an audience of ROTC students. Major James Blodgett, commanding officer of the ROTC unit, looks on.
