Description
Carleton Gibson of Mobile graduated from the University of Alabama in 1884 with an A.B. degree and 1885 with an honorary A.M. degree. Before being elected president of the Jacksonville State Normal School he was a member of the faculty. He served as president 1886-1892. The original was courtesy of C.W. Daugette, Jr. (circa 1886)
