Description

The Jacksonville State University Stage Band was a select group of musicians whose interest was American Jazz and improvisation. Under the direction of Dr. Ronald Surace, the 1975-1976 members were, trumpets: Tom Moore, Tony Plunkett, Scott Holsonback, Rick Casteel, Don Robinson, Clay Morris, Alan Watson, trombones: Andy Robertson, Rick Taylor, Doug Gordon, Phil Whitley, Hoard Hubler, saxophone: Bill Hamric, Jerome Millender, Mike Clark, Devon Viche, Marle Carroll, rhythm: Tom McGarity (drums), Al Ruben (bass), Tim Walters (guitar), and Dr. Ronald Surace (piano). Shown are members inside the performance center.
