Description
The Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners band and ballerinas celebrated America's 200th birthday the weekend of July 4th, 1976 by representing Alabama in Philadelphia's parade on national television. Shown are ballerinas and color guard with the U.S. flag and the Bicentennial flag outside Merrill Hall on campus. Color guard members are Wynette Kindred, Kay Bolick, Sandy Engelman, and Carol Chandler. (circa July 4, 1976)
