Description

Graduation exercises were held May 25, 1951 in the Leone Cole Auditorium at Jacksonville State Teachers College. Washington correspondent and political columnist Miss Doris Fleeson delivered the baccalaureate address. Shown is a section of the large audience in attendance as the class marches in to receive diplomas. The 189 graduates were probably the largest class in the history of the school at that time.
