Goodbyes were said on January 23, 1951 as the men of the Jacksonville National Guard Company H boarded their buses to join the rest of the 31st (Dixie) Division at Fort Jackson, SC. Shown Rev. Durro Wood wishes his blessing on Company H and its commander, Captain William C. Irby. Members of Company H are seen in formation in the background.
