Troy Dobbins was a student at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). The summer 1961 session, Dobbins was appointed to serve as editor of the Collegian. In 1961-1962 he also was Editor in Chief of the Collegian Staff. (circa June 12, 1961)
