The first Governor's Day was held April 8, 1960 at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). Governor John Patterson is shown at the podium and microphone on stage in the auditorium addressing the student body. Identified on stage seated behind him are President Houston Cole and Dean Lawrence Miles as well as ROTC personnel. (circa April 8, 1960)
