Description

Charlene Tarpley was a student at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). In 1964 she was a Sponsor, Honorary Captain, as part of the Honor Guard in the Headquarters Company. She was one of eleven candidates competing for the title of "Queen of the Military Ball" on April 1, 1964. (circa March 25, 1964)
