April 21, 1961 was declared as Governor's Day at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). Governor John Patterson reviewed ROTC cadets in Paul Snow Memorial Stadium. Shown Governor Patterson descends the stadium steps in front of President Houston Cole, saluted by ROTC as they pass.
