Cadet Colonel Edward D. Pierce received two top awards during annual ROTC Awards Day ceremonies held May 11, 1962. Shown President Houston Cole presented the ROTC Certificate of Meritorious Leadership Achievement for 1961-1962. Pierce also received Outstanding Graduate Award in the Infantry Branch.
